Anonymous asked: Hi!! I have 2 questions for you, what its bulking?? And what competitions are you training for? You look amazing!
Bulking is basically consuming a surplus of calories for a period of time in order to gain mass.. mainly to build lean muscle and of course some fat is gained but when you cut again it’s lost. I am training for the NPC Illinois and WBFF World’s competitions. xo

shatteredtopiecess asked: Did you go to the arnnold classic?
Yes I was there! It was amazing!
Anonymous asked: your body is amazing. i want to love it 5ever.
Today was rough. I learned something incredibly valuable though so it was all worth it. Always try to find the positives in a negative situation, they’re always there.
Anonymous asked: Is doing HIIT everyday (except for rest day) good for your body overall or do you need other forms of exercise?, love your blog btw
Doing HIIT every day can be detrimental to your health and physique! Especially if you aren’t dieting correctly. Unless you’re an Olympic sprinter there is no need to do HIIT every day. Definitely incorporate strength/ weight training into your routine and limit HIIT to once a week.. twice at most. I run HIIT sprints once a week for no more than 20 minutes. Depending on how quickly I recover I will do a shorter session of 10 minutes at least 2-3 days later during my 20 min post workout cardio. If you need those extra cardio endorphins then just lift heavier and shorten your rest times.
caged-and-chasing-the-clouds asked: Hi! I've been following you for a while and was wondering what you do for your arms... I've only been training for a month (not for a competition but to lose weight as I am 258 right now) and have my leg routine down but am lost when it comes to upper body. I like to use more free weights than machines but am up for anything. Thank you for everything! I use your blog as motivation and it's definitely helping! I'm down 12 pounds so far and have some definition in my legs! Thank you lovely!
Congrats on your progress and thank you for the nice compliments! Ironically, I just trained arms today! They have always been my weaker body part which is why I dedicated a day just for it. My triceps are a lot more developed than biceps. I will share my arm workout in another post but some of my favorite exercises are skull crushers, triceps dumbbell kick backs, cable push downs, dips, biceps- seated alternating dumbbell curls on an incline bench, standing barbell curls with back against a wall, and certain back exercises such as close grip pull ups really target the biceps.
Anonymous asked: You're in amazing shape, absolutely inspirational <3 But my goodness, you have the cutest smile ever too :)
So sweet. Thank you! XO
Anonymous asked: But why does your backside look like a pitbulls ?
LOL tru. It’s the pose. A back stance as required in bikini competitions. I’m bent forward and pushing my glutes out. Plus my lower half is pumped after yesterday’s leg sesh. Still a work in progress!
