It depends on the exercise but I usually aim for 6-8 on my heaviest sets. If I can only go for less than 6 I will do a drop set but not for every exercise.
Because it’s the weekend.
It’s all happening! Getting ready for show day is becoming pretty surreal. I’ve scheduled my tanning sessions and finally sent in my registration and ticket order forms. I’m also looking into several different prospective make up artists and damn. I haven’t felt any anxiety about the competition until now. Still, in a good way. I’m thrilled. The last time I was on stage was a year ago at America’s Beauty Show and having my hair and makeup done by the pros all weekend made me feel like a princess- as it should. But honestly, as “girly” as I can be at times, I dread wearing makeup and getting myself all dolled up so I’m leaving it all to a professional. Tonight, I’ll be training with my coach and then practicing posing with an experienced competitor. So much excitement going on this weekend. Happy Friday and Easter to all who celebrate!
